Hi everyone,

When i complete the form, it gets rejected, and asking me to change my name in the profile like the name in the document, when i do this, the problem continues, and asks to change it to be like the document, i think it is becuese the document and the name in it is written in arabic, and i made the name in my profile in arabic too, and the problem continues, what do i have to do, can any one solve this problem ? , i think the problem is the ai doesn't understand the arabic very well .. please solve i need to get the digital ocean cloud free cridets ..

@asomansharshar2010-glitch this name-matching loop happens a lot with Arabic (and other non-Latin) documents. Matching Arabic on the profile doesn't always satisfy the checker if billing/profile fields or OCR still disagree.

Try this order:

1. Put your name in both Arabic and a consistent Latin transliteration where GitHub lets you (profile name vs billing). Keep spelling identical across attempts.
2. Prefer a school-issued English document if your uni provides one (enrollment letter / ID with Latin script). That clears a lot of these.
3. Use the phone camera in good light, flat doc, no glare. Avoid screenshots of PDFs.
4. Apply once per clear change. Rapid retries with tiny edits often keep failing the same way.

Also: DigitalOcean credits only unlock after Education approval, so the verification step has to clear first. Community can't approve apps, but the English-doc + one clean camera resubmit path is what usually breaks the Arabic OCR deadlock.

I think the issue might be related to the verification system having trouble matching names written in Arabic.

If your GitHub profile name already matches the document exactly (including spacing and punctuation), there's probably not much more you can do on your end. I wouldn't keep resubmitting the same information, since you'll likely get the same result.

At this point, I'd recommend contacting GitHub Education Support and explaining that your document is in Arabic and the automated verification keeps rejecting it even though your profile name matches. They may be able to review your submission manually or suggest an alternative verification method.

Hopefully GitHub improves support for non-Latin scripts in the verification process, since this seems like it could affect other students as well. Good luck—I hope you get it resolved soon!
