Supabase MCP Error: "Your account does not have the necessary privileges to access this endpoint"

For some reason, my mcp server just stopped working. What's the best way to fix this?

update if in cursor or other ide changing the name of the MCP sever in the mcp.JSON worked for me

I believe I found the issue. Connecting to a database with multiple projects will sometimes cause Claude to forget what project its trying to access and try to execute functions on an invalid project. Have it list all the projects available to it through the MCP and ensure its working with the correct one.

My Claude be making up a totally random project ID after it compacts the conversation once, which causes this error. The above was correct, ask it to list projects first - write this down in your CLAUDE.md.

Ran into this as well, and it was project confusion. When I added the now documented "--project-ref=" param to my old mcp config, everything worked.

Also get this error all the time. Seems to happen with claude cli after compacting conversation occurs.
