Project stuck in “Pausing” state, cannot pause or delete

Hello Supabase community and team,

I have a project stuck in the Pausing state for several hours.
I cannot delete or resume it via the dashboard or the CLI.
The error I get when trying to delete with CLI is:Failed to delete project <project_ref>: {"message":"Project is pausing and is not ready for deletion."}
I already tried:

Using supabase projects resume <project_ref>

Logging out and back in

Clearing browser cache

Using another browser and incognito mode

No luck so far.

This project is blocking my work and I can’t create a new one with the same name.
Does anyone have a workaround or know how to force Supabase to unlock this?

What about users who are only on the free trial plan?

Support should eventually get to them. Make sure you care clear your project is not usable and is stuck.
