Lost access to production organization/project — Ticket SU-476658

Hi Supabase team,
I urgently need help recovering access to a production Supabase organization/project.

Project ref: hntneroznshtuexqqsqd
Organization ID: bbemiptrfkyupdwrvbfq
I previously had access to this organization, and I still control the email address that received Supabase organization usage/restriction notifications.
The project still appears to exist, but my current Supabase account receives “You do not have access to this organization/project.”
This is affecting a production application currently used for restaurant operations. I can provide proof of ownership privately to Supabase Support.
Could someone please help bump SU-476658 to the appropriate account/access team?

If the project is running then you are not in the right account.
Following are the cases:
You signed up with Github and need to use that (email login won't work). Github primary has to match.
You created the project with Vercel, Lovable or Bolt... then you need to use their dashboard/logins.
You have a team mate on the org than took you off as owner.

Try chatGPT login with an account using the email you got the alert on.

OR if you project is not running (getting API or usage errors counts as running) then you somehow deleted the project. If so check your Audit log in Account Settings (user icon top right) if problem started within 24 hours.

Otherwise you have to wait on support and the bad news is the account security group is taking well over a week right now. There is no way to escalate.

Hi Supabase Support, Update: I have successfully regained access to my production project, so the account/project access issue is now resolved. However, the project is currently fully restricted because the Storage quota has been exceeded. *Project ref:* hntneroznshtuexqqsqd I have identified *3,230 old Storage objects from August 2026 (approximately 810 MB)* that I can safely delete to reduce my Storage usage. The problem is that I cannot perform the cleanup because the Storage API itself is restricted and returns *HTTP 402*, even when using the project's Secret Key. I am currently unable to upgrade the organization. Could you please *temporarily restore Storage API access so I can delete these old files*, or assist me with removing these August Storage objects? I am ready to perform the cleanup immediately. The project is used by a production operational application that is currently unable to serve requests because of the restriction. This is not Supabase support. That is only thru the dashboard. No one here can see or touch your project.

You will need to upgrade to Pro and delete then if you want go back to free for $25.
Or you will need to contact support (top right of dashboard) and see if they are willing to give you relief to delete. It will not reset next billing period. This will likely be days to find out if what they will do.

You should have had a grace period to delete the files, when that runs out there is no user way to do it without upgrading.

Your suggestion to try signing in with ChatGPT actually worked, and I was finally able to regain access to my old organization and production project. That was a huge help after I had been struggling to access it. I really appreciate your guidance and the time you spent responding to my issue.
