This release shrinks the binary distribution size by 36% and implements many improvements and new features.

  • Added ory perform device-code to run an OAuth2 device authorization grant from the terminal.
  • ory update oauth2-client is no longer destructive: it now only changes fields on a client which were provided as command line arguments.
  • ory get jwk now correctly reports they set ID/name for JSON Web Keys, which was previously invisible.
  • ory proxy and ory tunnel how have longer timeouts which is occasionally necessary in local development.
  • Upstream CORS headers are now stripped when running ory proxy and ory tunnel.
  • Added ory use workspace to configure a default Ory Network workspace for subsequent CLI operations.
  • Added ory get opl to directly retrieve the Ory Permission Language from an Ory Network project.
  • The @ory/cli NPM package no longer has any dependencies, which would previously show up in vulnerability scans as false positives.
  • Many CI improvements, dependency upgrades, and assorted bugfixes.
