• v4 Beta expected by 1/28/2019:
  • We will be releasing a beta version while we complete the full matrix of feature testing. The base functionality and reliability should be robust.
  • We will post the release on the github as a beta release (beta in name). We encourage you to download and try it out. You can report any issues via the ovis-hpc/ovis issues page.
  • We have a current issue in that github is flagging the accounts of anyone who edits the wiki! While we are anticipating the beta version being released next Monday 1-28-2018, that will be subject to github resolving our flagged accounts.
• New feature list - Configuration Best Practices page is being populated with more info. There are also new man pages.
  • Groups
  • Automatic failover
  • Ease in varying collection frequency
  • Etc.
• Now using GitHub issue tracker
  • Tags (collectors, stores, feature requests, etc)
