ReaUI Builder 1.6.0
ReaUI Builder 1.6.0
The first update since 1.0.70. It rolls up everything built since then (1.0.72 – 1.6.0); the full list is in CHANGELOG.md.
Highlights
- Basic Mode. A simpler view of the same builder: eleven common components, plain-language properties, Add → Canvas → Layers → Properties. Switch any time with View › Interface mode; the project and the exported Lua stay the same. A startup dialog asks for the mode and whether to start new, open or restore a project.
- Menu bar. Build the window's menu bar in the Canvas tab: menus, items, check items, separators and submenus. Items export as
-- TODOmarkers like buttons; check items keep their state instate.<name>_checked. - Themes. Title bar in ImGui or theme colours, translucent accent headers in Slate and Light, theme alpha, and theme files (import / export).
- New widgets. InvisibleButton, CheckboxFlags, TextLink, PlotLines / PlotHistogram, a "+" tab button on tab bars, disabled StyleRegion, TreeNode guide lines, Selectable Highlight.
- Tables. Angled headers, frozen header row, "scroll rows" filled by your script, and row heights measured by ReaImGui at runtime.
- Text. Primitive labels and Text are laid out by ReaImGui at runtime; Preview breaks lines much closer to REAPER.
- Editor. Tooltips on every setting in the Selection panel; a click on a tab's label selects the tab; click to place a rectangle or circle; rectangle and circle labels.
- Fixes. Arc export now matches Preview (pies over 180°, angles across 0°, full turns), and several cases that could leave a project unable to reopen are fixed (deleting a tab with "Keep inner widgets", copying a table cell, extreme RadioButton values).
Compatibility
- The exported scripts need REAPER with ReaImGui 0.10 or later, as before.
- Projects from 1.0.70 open as they are. Most export unchanged; the differences (theme header colours, arcs, text layout, table rows, ListBox escapes) are listed in the CHANGELOG.
- The manuals still describe 1.0.70.
