Changes since last release

From CHANGELOG.md, 2026-09-04:

Upstream bump to Claude Desktop v1.46388.2

Anthropic's v1.46388.2 re-minified the bundle: string literals are double-quoted again instead of
backticks, and the second chunk family (index2.chunk-*) is gone - everything is index.chunk-*
once more. Five patches lost their anchors and are re-fitted; nothing was upstreamed and no patch was
added or removed (47 patches).

• Computer Use (fix_computer_use_linux): the seven tool-description rewrites were anchored on
  backtick literals and now accept either quote style. The two availability gates gained an
  upstream Cowork HIPAA compliance check; the Linux path now honours it too, so an org compliance
  lock disables Computer Use on Linux exactly as on macOS and Windows. The open_application
  description became a plain string, so its Linux wording is concatenated instead of interpolated.
• Files quick open: the worker-host fork site is matched with either quote style; the env
  passthrough that carries the feature switch to the file-index worker is unchanged.
• Native title bar: upstream turned the titleBarOverlay style helper into a function taking
  main/popout; the background capture follows the new declarator shape.
• Dock bounce: requestUserAttention now returns a boolean that callers chain, so the Linux
  guard returns false ("nothing flashed") instead of falling through.
• Renderer-gone log: upstream turned the suppression into two early returns; both now log
  Main webview render process gone (suppressed) before returning, so a silently swallowed
  renderer death stays visible in main.log.

The 2026-08-30 v1.40609.0 release was auto-released and never hand-audited, so the catalogs below
cover two releases:

• Feature flags: the GrowthBook override template grows from 225 to 291 catalogued flags (66
  added, 12 removed). The static merger swapped epitaxyMcpApps and
  chillingSlothSshWorktreeLocation (now static) for sideSessions and wslForkSession. Notable
  new flags: multi-account, Code session keep-awake, side sessions, terminal scrollback, file
  checkpointing. enable_local_agent_mode needed no change.
• Deployment panel: the managed-settings key catalog grows from 117 to 143 keys, matching the
  bundle's zod schema and the 3P setup SPA. New groups include the network egress proxy, Entra ID
  sign-in, Microsoft 365 add-in policies and the built-in browser domain policy.
• Built-in MCP: three new internal servers (ccd_session, ccd_pr, ccd_sidebar) and new
  session hand-off / PR monitoring tools; none is platform-gated.
• Platform gates: no new Linux-blocking gate and no new native module. New capability keys
  codeSessionKeepAwake, computerUseComplianceGate, multiAccount, sessionMentions are
  supported on Linux; popoutTitleBarOverlay is unsupported only under Wayland. Claude Code's
  sandbox now needs bubblewrap on Linux when a managed egress or workspace policy requires it.
• ion-dist: the 3P setup SPA patch still hits its two sites (Linux org-plugins mount path).

Also fixed: scripts/validate-patches.sh aborted on the first failing patch instead of reporting
all of them (set -e swallowed the exit status of the nim branch).
