  • Upgraded matter.js from 0.17.3 to 0.17.9 with Matter 1.6 models and session/subscription reliability fixes.
  • Added explicit Matter 1.6 CapabilityMinima for multi-camera aggregators.
  • Improved structure-change signaling, occupancy events, and LiveView-only stream usage advertising.
  • HEIC remains unadvertised until an encoder is available; non-JPEG snapshot requests now return ConstraintError.

Fixed

  • Root BasicInformation is initialized with the correct software version, avoiding SmartThings' persistent firmware-update indicator.
  • New installations use project PID 0xCA42 to avoid unrelated SmartThings Edge driver fingerprint collisions.
  • Camera creation, duplication, and bulk import now avoid timestamp ID collisions and duplicate submits.

Existing pairings retain their stored Matter identity. The new PID applies to new installations or after an intentional Matter factory reset.
