Walkthrough

The pull request introduces changes to the project's configuration by updating the @reown/appkit dependency version in package.json and modifying the Wagmi configuration. The changes involve specifying a precise pre-release version of the dependency and setting the default network to mainnet in the Wagmi configuration file. These modifications aim to refine the project's dependency management and network settings.

Changes

File Change Summary
package.json Updated @reown/appkit dependency from ^1.6.0 to 1.6.4-rc.0
src/config/wagmi.config.tsx Added mainnet import and set defaultNetwork to mainnet in createAppKit

5-7: Verify mainnet chain compatibility

The addition of mainnet import and its use as the default network needs verification against the existing chain configurations in consts.chains.

Let's check the chain configurations:

✅ Verification successful

The mainnet chain import is compatible with existing configurations

The codebase already includes mainnet through wagmiChains import, and all chains (both custom and standard) use the same Chain type from viem, ensuring full compatibility.

🏁 Scripts executed

The following scripts were executed for the analysis:

Script:

#!/bin/bash
# Check chain configurations in constants
rg -A 10 "chains.*=" src/constants/

Length of output: 462

Script:

#!/bin/bash
# Check wagmiChains import and chain-related code
rg -l "wagmiChains" src/
ast-grep --pattern 'import { $$ } from "wagmi/chains"'

Length of output: 112

Script:

#!/bin/bash
# Get complete chain configuration
cat src/constants/chains.consts.ts

Length of output: 2840

57-57: Consider implications of setting mainnet as default

While adding a default network addresses the wallet connection issue, setting mainnet as default may have UX implications:

  1. Ensure this aligns with the most common user journey
  2. Verify that the UI properly handles network switching when required

Let's verify the network handling logic:

✅ Verification successful

Network handling implementation is robust and user-friendly

The codebase demonstrates comprehensive network handling with proper UI feedback, error handling, and cross-chain support. Setting mainnet as default is appropriate given:

  • Well-implemented network switching with clear user guidance
  • Robust error handling with user-friendly messages
  • Proper cross-chain support through Axelar integration
  • Clear loading states and network indicators in the UI
🏁 Scripts executed

The following scripts were executed for the analysis:

Script:

#!/bin/bash
# Check network switching logic
rg -A 5 "network.*switch" src/
rg -A 5 "chain.*switch" src/

Length of output: 901

Script:

#!/bin/bash
# Check for network-related UI components and error handling
rg -A 5 "network.*error" src/
rg -A 5 "chain.*error" src/
rg -B 2 -A 5 "useNetwork" src/
rg -B 2 -A 5 "Chain" src/components/

Length of output: 107983

31-32: ⚠️ Potential issue

Review version compatibility between appkit packages

There are several concerns with the dependency updates:

  1. Using a release candidate version (1.6.4-rc.0) in production may introduce instability
  2. Version mismatch between @reown/appkit and @reown/appkit-adapter-wagmi could cause compatibility issues

Let's verify the compatibility requirements:

Consider:

  1. Updating both packages to stable versions
  2. Documenting why a release candidate version is necessary
  3. Adding a comment in package.json about the version constraints

    • @coderabbitai read src/utils.ts and generate unit testing code.
    • @coderabbitai read the files in the src/scheduler package and generate a class diagram using mermaid and a README in the markdown format.
    • @coderabbitai help me debug CodeRabbit configuration file.

Note: Be mindful of the bot's finite context window. It's strongly recommended to break down tasks such as reading entire modules into smaller chunks. For a focused discussion, use review comments to chat about specific files and their changes, instead of using the PR comments.
