Robo.Op is an open hardware / open software platform for hacking industrial robots. This project integrates open-source toolkits, such as Processing and Arduino, into existing industrial robotic workflows.
The goal of Robo.Op is to enable designers to:
- quickly integrate their own custom tools for creative robotics
- share knowledge across design and engineering disciplines
- bypass the expensive proprietary software and hardware currently offered by robotics companies
The following is an ever-growing list of projects that incorporate industrial robots in untraditional ways.
Drawing
**Light Writing**
**Projection Mapping**
**Interaction**
**Fabrication**
This project was initialized by Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Machine Virtuosity group.
Code for Robo.Op was adapted from Open ABB Driver.
