6. Issues and Developments

Software and hardware for Robo.Op is currently in an alpha stage. Over the next few months we will be adding example projects to the wiki and verifying that the RTA and Processing interface work reliably under more extensive test cases.

Plans for the next phase of development include:

  • Uploading Android templates for communicating to Industrial Robots with mobile devices
  • Integrating a ROS node for more sophisticated motion planning and mapping
  • Adding support for non-ABB robots

    If you would like to use Robo.Op but have an IR that is not an ABB brand robot, please contact us at peopleplusrobots@gmail.com so we can work with you directly to adapt the system!
