- New: more redaction strategies in the Policy Editor, including Mask, Keep the last 4 characters,
hashing, encryption, and date shifting. Truncate can now keep characters at either end, for example
************1111. - New: ITIN and Canadian SIN identifiers, each with an option to match only numbers that are
actually issued. - Improved: Find & Redact terms accept a
*wildcard, as in Always Redact. - Fixed: redaction no longer misses values next to line breaks or tabs in Word, PowerPoint, and text
files. Redact again any such Word documents redacted with an earlier version. - Fixed: at display scaling above 100%, dialogs no longer have overlapping or cut-off controls, and
the license and notice windows can be resized. - Fixed: the license text and the text, email, and Word previews no longer run lines together.
- Fixed: Modify Redaction no longer redacts the wrong text when the original document has changed.
- Fixed: redacting a file that is open in another program now says to close it.
- Changed: strategy conditions no longer offer "Detected type", which never matched the built-in
filters, and opening a policy removes conditions that can't be read. Neither changes how existing
policies redact. - Internal: updated to the Phileas 1.7.0 redaction engine.
