PlayFusion 1.0.2 (testing)

PlayFusion 1.0.2 is a testing/pre-release baseline. PlayFusion 1.0.1 remains available as the rollback installer until 1.0.2 completes real-hardware qualification.

Highlights

• 39 bundled runtimes, Hell on Rails, PlayFusion Arcade, and the 30 Years album

• Clean factory profile with no personal saves, movies, APKs, accounts, or network credentials

• Persistent settings/profile badge and corrected MP3/Digital Jukebox playback

• Optimized Xbox themes with theme boot animations replacing the default animation

• Signed cumulative internet/offline updater with rollback and boot-health checks

• Clean-install fix for incompatible Btrfs compression attributes left by Android test state

• Refreshed installer with the hardware-tested PS1 optical stack, both complete Xbox themes, and corrected settings/update health permissions

Rebuild and install

1. Download all five numbered .part files, SHA256SUMS.txt, and the rebuild script for your OS.
2. Windows: run Rebuild-PlayFusion-Installer.cmd.
3. Linux: run chmod +x Rebuild-PlayFusion-Installer-Linux.sh && ./Rebuild-PlayFusion-Installer-Linux.sh.
4. The script rebuilds and verifies the IMG. Flash it with BalenaEtcher or another raw-image writer.

Warning: Installing PlayFusion erases the selected destination disk. Android/Waydroid remains experimental and no test APKs ship in this image. Use only games, firmware, keys, and media you are authorized to use.

Installer deployment hotfix (August 2, 2026)

• Fixed clean-install deployment failure caused by an archive/subvolume name mismatch.
• Preserved Linux ownership, permissions, hard links, and all 11,269 symlinks during repack.
• Verified a complete clean installation and an independent boot from the installed virtual disk before publishing.
