Profiles, Saves, and Controllers

Profiles and saves

  • Default Profile always exists and cannot be deleted.
  • Create up to three additional named profiles and select a built-in avatar.
  • Installed games and runtimes are shared.
  • Saves, emulator memory cards/configs, shader caches, game overlays, and Windows prefixes are isolated by profile and game ID.
  • Reset Settings restores the PlayFusion default theme, font, display, and menu preferences; it should not delete games or saves.

Controller Setup

Open Extras > Controller Setup to add or remap a device. PlayFusion normalizes supported controllers toward an Xbox 360-style layout. Choose a system profile, map requested controls, and save.

Wii titles receive the persistent PlayFusion gamepad profile and Vulkan default unless their KZI requests Wii Remote behavior.

For keyboard-only Windows/Linux games, mount/select the game and open Extras > PC Controller Profiles. AntiMicroX maps controller input to the game's keyboard/mouse controls. The default Guide-button action toggles the on-screen keyboard.

If a controller disappears, unplug/replug it once. The recovery service should restore InputPlumber without changing saved profiles.

Audio

PlayFusion prefers an active HDMI/DisplayPort sink and remembers the working route. Turn on the TV/receiver before booting when possible.
