Ploid Desktop 0.0.40

- Minimal text and clear app choices, with Add another and Skip.
- Inline Gmail and Outlook writing-style setup with verified saved results, retry, and background completion.
- Optional Chrome profile import and a personalized first task.
- Resume unfinished setup after restarting. Existing workspaces stay as they are.
Ploid Desktop 0.0.39
Ploid Desktop 0.0.39 — Apple Silicon macOS
- Replies lead with the answer and keep routine narration brief. Links are colored and underlined.
- People searches open a saved table with role, company, contact status, LinkedIn and research sources.
- Completed paid lookups still return their results if a local save fails, avoiding unnecessary repeat lookups.
- Contact enrichment uses the signed-in Ploid account and its normal usage. Returned email confidence stays visible.
- Email drafts and other writing open an editable Drafts workspace beside chat. Edit, copy, save, and recover unsaved edits after reopening. Drafts remain local unless explicitly created in a connected mailbox; editing locally does not send or sync them.
- Gmail reply drafting also opens the local review workspace. Gmail action discovery now returns an explicit object response compatible with strict MCP clients, fixing the array-shaped action-list failure that blocked voice setup.
If an earlier Gmail voice setup failed, update and ask “Retry learning my email voice” in that chat. Connecting again is not required when Gmail is already connected.
Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Close Ploid after this update downloads to install and reopen automatically (0.0.38 or newer), or use the existing update button. Manual install: quit Ploid, drag the app from the DMG into Applications, and choose Replace. Keep existing app data.

Ploid Desktop 0.0.38
Ploid Desktop 0.0.38 — Apple Silicon macOS
- Downloaded updates install automatically when you close the main window or quit Ploid. A brief update notice appears, then Ploid reopens on the new version.
- Chrome import now shows readable profile rows with Chrome account names and emails, a clear selection, and the Chrome logo.
- Simplifies browser-import setup copy and hides the device code during browser sign-in.
This release introduces the new close-to-update behavior. To receive it from an older build, use its existing restart/update button or quit Ploid normally after the update downloads. Future downloaded updates use the new close-and-reopen flow. Restarting interrupts running tasks; Force Quit and power loss cannot complete installation reliably.
Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Manual install: quit Ploid, drag the app from the DMG into Applications, and choose Replace. Keep existing app data.

Ploid Desktop 0.0.37
Ploid Desktop 0.0.37 — Apple Silicon macOS
- Integrations fills the available workspace, with responsive columns and one page scroller.
- Connecting multiple apps keeps each app’s correct sign-in link and independent progress. Reopen or stop waiting for one connection without blocking another.
- Fixes Gmail action discovery and other MCP tools failing because array results were encoded incorrectly.
- Restores integration detail pages, including Email.
Stopping the in-app waiting state does not cancel authorization in an already-open browser page.
Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Existing users can select Restart to update when offered. For manual installation, quit Ploid with Command-Q, drag the app from the DMG into Applications, and choose Replace. Keep your application-data folders.
Ploid Desktop 0.0.36
Ploid Desktop 0.0.36 — Apple Silicon macOS
- Fixes older chats and Gmail voice setup failing with “Model not found: ploid/atlas.”
- Shows AI replies progressively, with gentle paragraph animation and automatic scrolling that pauses when you scroll up.
- Adds Chrome profile import during onboarding, so supported website sign-ins can carry into Ploid before your first chat.
Chrome import copies cookies and site preferences locally. Passwords, bookmarks, history, and extensions stay in Chrome. Some sites may require sign-in again; Gmail integration permissions are separate.
Verified on a fresh Namespace Mac: onboarding, profile import, saved session after restart, live AI generation, and scroll behavior. Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
Existing 0.0.35 users can install through Restart to update when offered. For a manual install, quit Ploid with Command-Q, open the DMG, drag Ploid Desktop into Applications, and choose Replace. Keep your application-data folders.

- Keeps optional connection setup from blocking onboarding.
- Detects unavailable Ploid tools and displays clearer research authentication errors.
To install: finish running work, quit Ploid with Command-Q, open the DMG, drag Ploid Desktop into Applications and choose Replace. Do not delete the application-data folders.
Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Intel Macs and Windows are not included in this release.
Ploid Desktop Beta
Ploid Desktop Beta 1.26.13 for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later.
- Redesigned dark People and Companies grids with colored industry tags, last interaction, revenue, headcount, funding, LinkedIn and configurable columns.
- Floating record panels combine verified company details, account summaries, opportunities, upcoming meetings and tasks from available saved context. Enrich with AI retrieves missing context through connected tools; unchecked information stays blank.
- Click saved-record chips in chat to open their details without leaving the conversation. UI components reuse MIT-licensed Twenty source bundled locally; no Twenty account or server is required.
- Inline plugin links include app logos. Fullscreen sidebar controls stay aligned and Plugins uses the @ icon.
- Prospecting prefers Ploid search/research APIs and saved or connected CRM seeds, with browser verification for evidence gaps. Compact save receipts reduce repeated tool output. The previously reported 422 error has not been reproduced conclusively.
Gmail import status: The matching integration server fix is still pending. This desktop update alone does not resolve incomplete Gmail imports. Existing logins may need Settings → Account → reconnect to approve people-search access.
Drag the DMG's Ploid Desktop Beta app into Applications. Signed updates download in the background and install when you quit. Use Ploid Desktop Beta → Check for Updates to check now; once ready, choose Quit and Install Update or quit normally. Chats, notes and credentials are preserved. The original 1.26.0 beta needs one manual replacement to enable automatic updates.
