1.0.0
Flow turns the music you already own into a private streaming service for your network.
- Library. Drop MP3, FLAC, M4A, or OGG files into
flow/music/. Flow reads album, artist, and track information from tags, indexes untagged files by filename, and automatically picks up new music. Broken containers are repaired during scanning when possible; otherwise, files are skipped and logged. - Playback. Gapless playback between tracks. Volume normalization across your library, enabled by default. A server-side queue that survives reloads, with drag-to-reorder and Play Next. One search field finds everything.
- Interface. Album and artist pages with cover art, playlists with custom covers, and an Organize view for bulk metadata editing. Install it to your iPhone Home Screen and keep listening in the background.
- Security. Optional, rate-limited password authentication. Leave it disabled and Flow is open to devices on your network.
- Docker. Root-owned host folders (common on NAS) work as-is: the container prepares its data folder on start and then runs unprivileged — no manual
chownneeded. Re-pull the image if you pulled before this re-release.
