Newmark2DSH 0.3.14

NewMate scheduled toDoList entries now default to running one conversation turn, using native MemoryLab context. Existing persisted reminders retain their original text-only behavior; new entries can explicitly select reminder mode.

Reading, drafts, active input, host work, quiet hours and snooze defer activation. The existing attention policy selects the current or a new conversation. Stable task/message receipts prevent duplicate model runs after restart; failed or interrupted runs do not retry automatically. Results use the shared pet bubble, and the main window opens on user action.

macOS normal CU now uses the Windows-style clockwise black/white perimeter gradient. The pet crops transparent margins, preserves the sprite aspect ratio and uses an alpha-adjacent animated contour with backing-scale support. CU owns the contour; companion-only and expanded preview states remain steady.

On Windows, enabling companionship during hidden-desktop CU inherits the existing CU target and pet PID rather than rebuilding a Default-desktop pet and losing its preview target.

Validation: Windows official DSH Desktop 0.2.0-rc.2 installed-candidate full gate 200 passed, zero failures/skips; 23 native shared-pet, 5 preferences, 20 GPU preview and 3 menu checks; real authenticated MCP, scheduled model activation, focused-reader protection and heartBeat restart no-replay. Package runtime matches the accepted source, with Git-normalized text line endings.

ARM macOS 14/15/26 native/browser matrix and real Mission Control Space matrix passed. Each native pipeline covers 52 scenarios plus production renderer 1x/2x offscreen contour checks. This does not establish official macOS DSH container installation, physical input timing, multi-display/fullscreen combinations or minimum Neo hardware performance. This Windows round did not independently repeat physical double-click/right-click on the non-activating pet; owned native methods/renderers were tested. Cross-platform styling is aligned, not claimed physically pixel-identical.

0.3.13 — NewMate toDoList and Apple Silicon CU

0.3.13

NewMate durable toDoList, manual page creation, shared conversation/MCP tools and exact due-message delivery with attention-aware thread choice. No extra reminder model call; companion-off postpones delivery. Notification suppression preserves the saved chat message. Fixed message IDs and delivery reconciliation prevent restart replay.

Apple Silicon visual/AX/Space CU, 100ms user-input idle arbitration, foreground/cursor restoration and shared pet/border rendering now have native cloud acceptance on macOS 14/15/26. Native and browser matrix · Mission Control two-Space matrix.

Cloud validation uses owned native fixtures and the actual NewMate client with explicit host/model fixtures. It does not prove official macOS DSH installation, physical keyboard/mouse timing, multi-display/fullscreen combinations or minimum Neo hardware performance. Spaces share user input; they are not complete isolation.

Existing five components and independent switches remain; this patch adds no component. Windows installation and the source/package/registry receipts are recorded in the development release archive.

Windows official DSH desktop 0.2.0-rc.2: 0.3.13 installed, 93 shipped files byte-identical, full gate 200 passed / 0 failed / 0 skipped. Actual GUI manual reminder creation and companion-off deferral/on delivery pass. A second heartBeat restart preserves exactly one reminder message and permanently consumed update task. Actual installed-host authenticated MCP create/list/cancel passes. Original messages and other plugin configuration preserved.

Official npm latest is 0.3.13. Initial publish uploaded successfully but its five-minute visibility gate expired during registry availability delay. The follow-up read-only immutable-tag/official-registry verification passes all 93 file comparisons and integrity/latest checks; the version was not republished or retagged.

Newmark2DSH 0.3.11

0.3.11

Generated HTML now runs directly within each NewMate reply, with isolated interaction, inline expansion, source view and code copy. Current chat and read-only history share the renderer. File links mount registered DSH native document components in NewMate’s own sidebar, with native file-manager reveal fallback. Registrations are discovered dynamically; complex native renderers requiring additional host session bindings may fall back.

NewMate can add short memories and create/update native MemoryLab entries and tags. Deletion and arbitrary execution remain excluded. Memory checks call real tools in an isolated store.

259 focused checks passed. Installed desktop QA exercised a real model-generated counter, name input, expansion/collapse with state preservation and real native Markdown. All 89 shipped runtime files matched source/package/installation. Mac limits from0.3.10 remain unchanged.

Newmark2DSH 0.3.10

Five independently configurable components in one DSH plugin: MemoryLab, ComputerUse, Agent API, NewMate and heartBeat. This release includes the NewMate/heartBeat additions and subsequent fixes since the previous public 0.2.39.

  • NewMate provides a persistent companion chat, read-only history, MemoryLab-driven personalization, short message bubbles and an MCP interface. It cannot autonomously delete files. User input steers the current run instead of queuing another turn. Proactive contact respects attention, cooldowns and quiet periods; unprompted capability reports are suppressed. NewMate messages use the shared desktop pet, without OS notifications or a separate tray.
  • heartBeat restores the current conversation's provider/model context after restart. Delivered restart tasks are consumed permanently. Conversation tools can create tasks only for their own conversation and request a global DSH restart.
  • MemoryLab shortMemory stores numbered, timestamped short items, with a seven-day default expiry. NewMate receives tag relationships and recent short memories before its first model request.
  • Agent API uses DSH public resolveModelInfo, prepareCall and BlockAssembler. Provider plugins own authentication and protocol adaptation; no provider-name special cases. Same-name models remain provider-isolated, including opaque replay state. Real installed DSH runtime/parser checks used in-memory adapters; third-party provider plugins were not installed or live-tested.
  • File references use the current DSH document-preview registry and native sidebar, with file-manager reveal fallback. Future registered preview types need no NewMate suffix list. Links are borderless, bold and underlined. Read-only history scrolling and draft preservation are fixed.
  • Windows pet menus follow DSH theme/font, prewarm their WebView and reuse the loaded document. An isolated production-source integration probe opened in 38 ms after warm-up; user-pet physical right-click was not part of this acceptance.

699 related checks passed. Windows native Markdown sidebar navigation and file-manager reveal were exercised in the official DSH desktop. Source, final local package and installation matched for all 89 shipped files.

macOS prototype boundary

Public AppKit/CoreGraphics/Accessibility/ScreenCaptureKit source prototypes provide bounded observation, sparse measurement and basic input. Interactive native takeover requires macOS 14+; it does not block human physical input. A Virtualization.framework Linux VM boot/view prototype requires user-provided boot assets. Neither Mac native compilation nor hardware/VM boot has been validated. Guest CU transport/routing is not connected; virtual requests explicitly refuse physical-desktop fallback. Mac NewMate pet parity is not implemented. See implementation assessment.
