ink field

a living sumi-e study. sumi ink poured onto warm bone paper, drifting through a seeded noise field, with rare embers of clay.

controls

• turbulence: how sharply the ink follows the field
• drift: a gentle settling bias, like ink finding gravity
• density: how many ink particles live at once
• embers: how often a rare clay ember appears
• new pour: reseed the field and start a fresh study
• save print: download the current study as a png
• hide / show console: clear the frame for a full view
• tap / drag the paper: pour ink where you touch

respects prefers-reduced-motion: renders a single still print instead of animating.
