It seems like there hasn't been much activity on this lately and I see a ton of issues and PR stacking up. I hope that the introduction of the Laravel AI SDK doesn't impact the development of Prism. Prism is much better and more powerful imo |

I believe Prism has been effectively made redundant by the Laravel AI SDK. Originally, Prism was a laravel/ai dependency, which was removed in April. Prism updates ended around that date. Personally, I would have appreciated a corresponding heads-up from the Prism creator. In any case, we have recently migrated to laravel/ai, which has been less of a pain than anticipated [despite using strict schemas, which was one of Prism's many strengths] and other users should probably migrate, too. After all, the AI engine is too critical for most apps and the AI context too fast-moving to accept the dependency risk, even if laravel/ai is less "fluent" [sic] than Prism, at least in its current form. |
