Pairing now supports a clean QR image that scans reliably without terminal font or line-wrapping distortion.
ag pair --openopens a square, black-on-white PNG in your computer's image viewer.- Plain
ag pairsaves the same PNG and prints its path; narrow terminals skip the distorted terminal code. - Manual connection details remain available if an image viewer cannot open.

Requires AirCodum Agentum mobile app 1.1 or later and Node.js 18+. This release contains the built CLI; no source build is needed.
Try it now with npx
On your computer, start the server and leave this terminal running:
npx agentum@latest startOpen a second terminal tab (⌘T on macOS), then run:
npx agentum@latest pair --openThe QR image opens on your computer. On your phone, open Agentum → Add computer → Scan QR code and scan that image. Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi for initial setup.
Optional global installation
npm install -g agentum@latest
ag startIn another terminal, run ag pair --open.
npm availability
Agentum 2.0.1 is published on npm as latest. Both npx agentum@latest and npm install -g agentum@latest select this release. The attached tarball is also available for direct installation from GitHub.
Validation
The Windows, Linux, and macOS installation/test matrix passes. Generated PNGs are checked with an independent QR decoder. The actual image viewer was verified on macOS; Windows/Linux viewer selection is covered by automated mocks. The local suite passed 32 tests with 2 existing skips.
