hdtilt 0.4.0: subtitles
Films and episodes now have subtitles from OpenSubtitles. Press the CC button (or c) to see what's available in your language, best match first. Subtitles made for your exact file are marked THIS FILE. Use −½s / +½s to fix the timing; hdtilt remembers your choice for each title. CLI: hdtilt subs. MCP: find_subtitles. Self-hosters turn it on with a free key from opensubtitles.com/consumers (OPENSUBTITLES_API_KEY, or hdtilt subs --key). Details: #26
hdtilt 0.3.2: big ▲ ▼ page buttons on TVs
On a TV browser (Silk on Fire TV, Android TV, webOS, Tizen), every list gets big ▲/▼ page buttons: channels, Movies & Shows, the TV guide and the category rails. A TV's pointer can't scroll a list inside the page, so long lists were out of reach. Use ?pager=on or ?pager=off to turn them on or off on any device. Details: #25
hdtilt 0.3.1: filters find all your words, in any order
Every filter (Live TV, the TV guide, Movies & Shows, the CLI, TUI and MCP) now finds all the words you type in any order, ignoring case, accents and punctuation. espn us finds "US| ESPN HD", sports1 finds "Sports 1", and a lone number is still the channel number. On a TV, where the lists can be hard to scroll, the filter now finds what you're after. Details: #24
hdtilt 0.3.0: Movies & Shows
A Movies & Shows tab beside Live TV: an Xtream line's films and series, browsed a category at a time, with search across every title, seasons and episodes, Continue watching and next-episode autoplay.
Films and episodes in MKV with Dolby (AC-3 / E-AC-3) or DTS sound, which no browser plays, are converted on the fly. The picture is copied, only the sound becomes AAC, and it's delivered as HLS. Seeking anywhere works. A plain M3U's /movie/ and /series/ entries show up in the same tab. MCP gets movies_shows, the API POST /api/vod.
Also fixes the video muting itself after a seek or a fast channel change.

v0.2.11
0.2.11: a home screen while the playlist loads, and favorites without…
hdtilt 0.2.10: sound on by default
hdtilt no longer stays muted. Browsers block sound until you first touch the page, so if a channel starts silent, your first tap, click or key press turns the sound on. That browser mute is no longer remembered for later visits, and anyone stuck muted by an earlier version starts with sound again.
hdtilt 0.2.9: streams for signed-in viewers only
On hdtilt.com, streams now pass through only for signed-in viewers. Signing in sets a secure cookie that the video player sends automatically, and signing out removes it. If you're already signed in, nothing changes for you.
hdtilt 0.2.8: click to watch
- Clicking or tapping a channel now plays it and closes the list (the remote still previews with the list open).
- Clicking the picture closes whatever is open: the channel list, the guide, settings or your account.
hdtilt 0.2.7: an account comes first
On hdtilt.com you now create an account (or sign in) before adding a playlist: sign up, confirm your email, then add your playlist. Signing out clears this device's copy of your playlists; signing back in brings them back. The desktop app and self-hosted installs need no account.
hdtilt 0.2.6: playback controls
The picture now has controls: play/pause, mute, a volume slider, picture-in-picture and full screen (and a seek bar when watching catch-up). They appear when you move the mouse, tap the picture or change channel. Space plays/pauses, + and − change the volume, and your volume is remembered.
