Per #1442 add text to describe relationship between the Programming Historian and ProgHist Ltd. Requires hacking `license` category, so may require refactoring. Also requires translation @programminghistorian/french-team @programminghistorian/spanish-team. Note, ProgHist Ltd will be operational from 1 October, so ideally this will be done before then.

@drjwbaker is there a reason this needs to go on the footer of every page? As I look at how this looks locally, it does strike me that this is a lot to fit in a footer - And I just remembered we have a "funding and ownership" section on our about page that directly seems to speak to this sort of thing. I might just shift it there, where it makes sense to fit alongside the rest of the text? And we'll also be able to use that space to expand on any of the relevant topics if needed. I can move it over to that spot if you agree. |

Hmm. I agree it is too much text. But it is also normal to put this kind of info in a footer. Perhaps we can compromise at this..
..in the footer and this..
..in the "funding and ownership" section? |

I like the
so much better, James. Maybe, since it already says The PH in the line above to refer to the issn, etc., I wonder if we could do something like:
? |
@drjwbaker I was also thinking something like what @jenniferisasi was getting at as a way of adapting what you suggested. Take a look at that and see what you think. It will need translation on the about page as well as with the snippet. I broke the snippet about financial things out into its own snippet so as to distinguish it from the licensing information. |
Thanks both, happy to go with that and to coordinate translation with the FR and ES MEs (when I'm back into good internet, currently traveling though Northern France..). |
Sounds good - I'll leave that to you then @drjwbaker! |
@mariajoafana @spapastamkou. Contacting you as ES and FR MEs respectively. We've made some changes to the footer text and the "funding and ownership" section to reflect decisions taken at #1301 (comment). This now requires translation. There isn't a huge hurry. But we'd like this in place by 1 October when ProgHist Ltd is operational. Anything I can do to support this, please ask. |
@drjwbaker there are likely to be lots of these little translations. In order to prevent overburdening our language teams, maybe we can collate these for a future task, once everything is ironed out? |
This should be the only one coming out of #1301 |
@drjwbaker I believe it is rather @rivaquiroga for the ES team. |
On the ES editor, thanks for correcting me. It is registered in England (as opposed to Scotland or Northern Ireland or England and Wales). The UK has strange business laws that depend on which bit of the UK you register in. |
ok, thanks @drjwbaker |
This is pending ES translation. Any chance it could be done before 1 October @programminghistorian/spanish-team? |
Working on it. |
Added company note in footer and description in out about page.

@walshbr Would you mind doing the final review and merge on this one please? Thanks all for their efforts. |
