Early developer alpha for Apple Silicon Macs.

Mostly vibe coded with AI assistance. Much of the implementation was generated using AI tools, guided by the maintainer's ideas, prompts and feedback.

Local Markdown notes, folders and tags, wiki links and backlinks, attachments, retained history, and five appearance themes.

Alpha limitations:

  • Unsigned and not notarized; macOS may block the app.
  • Public Google sign-in is not preconfigured. Cloud features still need live service acceptance testing.
  • Local files and history are plaintext. Start with a separate test notebook and keep independent backups.
  • Windows/Linux packaging and runtime behavior remain unverified.

Assets: wattle-notes-macos-arm64.zip (Mac app), wattle-notes-source.zip (matching GPL-3.0-or-later source and third-party notices), SHA256SUMS.txt (both ZIP hashes), and ALPHA-README.txt.

Source snapshot matches the public files at commit 2806c99. Checksums detect changed bytes; they are not a code signature.
