Error and Solution

You will find here some Error and Solution.

These Errors can append on specific case, for example if you abort an installation, or remove a disk before destroying the server...etc

The Solutions have, most of the time, to be type on host CLI.

ERROR: Error destroying Requested operation is not valid: cannot undefine domain with nvram :

SOLUTION (on CLI): virsh undefine --nvram VM_NAME

⚠️ Will destroy the VM

ERROR: Error stopping NOM_VM:Requested operation is not valid: domain is not running

SOLUTION 1 (on CLI): virsh reset VM_NAME

SOLUTION 2 (on CLI): virsh destroy VM_NAME (destroy the VM)

⚠️ SOLUTION 2 Will destroy the VM

ERROR: libvirt: Storage Driver error : Requested operation is not valid: storage pool '' is not active

SOLUTION (on CLI in the Hype² folder): python3 -c "import app; pool = conn.storagePoolLookupByName('') pool.undefine()"

Will remove from the pool list, but will recreate it if still in use
