Renaming files in WebUI

I have a lot of cases where things would go a lot easier if I could rename the files within qBittorrent WebUI

Actually I was looking for a way to rename the files automatically and therefore I was searching for a method in the web API, but I didn't found it. The implementation of this feature requires the extension of the web API with a file renaming method.

Yes its really needed feature. It already works great in Win/Linux GUI but for unknown reasons there is no renaming of files within torrents in Web interface. Using torrent client on NAS i cant access any onboard UI.

This function is very necessary to put my torrents in order. Ability to change the folder name is also very necessary.

I also need the feature, let me put up a user case:
Say I downloaded some video with versioning from 2 different sources to my NAS:

Torrent 1:
A funny Video
-- A funny video
-- | -- A funny video
-- | -- | -- A funny video part 1
-- | -- | -- | -- video files

Torrent 2:
A funny Video part 2-3
-- A funny video part 2 [created by RM]
-- | -- video files
-- A funny video part 3 [created by RM]
-- | -- video files

Now, I wish to organize the files into a decent hierarchy structure and remove the unnecessary sub-folder structures and delete the redundant parts in the naming. Since we can only access the webUI on an NAS, the feature is very much needed.

Moving to a docker container, i find this to be absolutely needed for long-term seeding. Alternatively a remote GUI client like deluge has would be great, but I'm not going to ask for that =P.

Remote GUI like Transmission/Deluge would be the best solution to this. Web interface will always be clunkier than a desktop thin client application.

If that's out of the question, being able to right click and rename files and hierarchy on the web interface would be outstanding.
