Two-Stage Precise Synchronization
Precise Sync uses a two-stage frame-pacing pipeline to produce a more stable and consistent viewing experience.
First, incoming host frame timestamps are converted into a steady local presentation rhythm. This absorbs short network jitter and prevents bursts of decoded frames from being presented back-to-back.
Second, each target presentation time is aligned with the display's VSync timing. This keeps frame spacing consistent and reduces visible judder, uneven motion, and micro-stutter when the streaming frame rate does not exactly match the device refresh rate.
In practice, the result is smoother motion during network fluctuations, more controlled latency during frame bursts, and more reliable pacing across different display refresh rates. Precise Sync is enabled by default in its dedicated pacing mode.
