Rain Cleaner 2.7.2 (2026-09-24)

  • Browser caches are now cleaned for every Chrome, Edge and Brave profile, not only "Default". The profile list comes from the browser's own Local State file; only the cache folders inside each profile can be touched, never cookies, passwords or history.
  • Path safety hardening: every folder between an allowed root and the file is now checked before a delete. A junction or symbolic link anywhere on that path stops the delete. Before, only the last component was checked.
  • 124 automated tests (22 new for these two changes).

The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may warn about it.
