Artist names can be standardized as Picard 3.0 does, under Settings → Tagging. By default, as in Picard 3.0, an artist credited under a variant of their name is tagged with their own name. After upgrading, albums tagged with the credited spelling show a Settings update, and every cached release is fetched again, so Update available starts nearly empty and refills (#678).
Changed
The album-title disambiguation setting applies to albums already in your library: after upgrading, any album whose title doesn't match it shows a Settings update (#685).
Cover Art Archive images move to their own caa-cache folder, apart from undo backups, automatically on upgrade (#688).
Settings puts tagging and background updates first, with a Save button that stays in view (#687).
Settings shows the space and location of artwork backups and the artwork cache; backups now default to 1 GB, as the cache does (max_bytes under [artwork_store]) (#687).
Applying reviewed artwork no longer asks for a second confirmation (#683).
