Hedyweb Messaging System Specification
The Hedyweb Messaging System is intended to streamline the communications of caretakers, administrators, and parents of Hedy, a disabled adult. Hedy is incapable of communicating her needs on her behalf, but lives in an adult apartment. She has a caretaker with her 24/7 but over the course of a day that's 3 different people; over a week up to 6 or more.
Hedy suffers from seizures, and depending on the their severity, she can require interventions to stop the seizure, or a post-seizure medicine protocol to limit agitation and sleeplessness for days afterward.
Coordinating treatment and care across all these dynamic conditions is a challenge, especially since care has to be provided without any input or guidance at all from Hedy herself.
