Why can't I use the homepage parameter?

that does not match the description from https://create-react-app.dev/docs/deployment/#step-1-add-homepage-to-packagejson

Yeah it's bad that we overload the meaning of homepage in package.json, but I think the ship has sailed on this. Maybe something that can be revisited on our next major.

Please revisit this. I have 2 different places where I want to deploy Storybook and my actual site generated by CRA. Not only that, but I can't set a project homepage because I would need to set this to get my build scripts to work.

It's related to storybookjs/storybook#9564
