modhelper-mcp (formerly mod-downloader-mcp) is a single MCP server that gives an AI agent search, download, dependency-resolution, update-checking, and in-game automation tools across Modrinth, CurseForge, Nexus, Thunderstore, Steam Workshop, and a live MineFlayer bot connection, plus local modding-knowledge lookups (Parchment mappings, canonical mod examples, docs full-text search).

All 81 tools are grouped into 9 categories and disabled by default. Nothing runs until you explicitly enable the groups you want.
