What's new

  • NVIDIA DLSS now gets the game's real depth buffer every frame (PS2 Z, inverted), so DLSS — and add-ons that hook it, like the neural rendering options in DLSS Swapper / the NVIDIA app — have proper scene depth.
  • Upscaling to your screen: AMD FSR 1 (any GPU) or NVIDIA DLSS (RTX), chosen in the launcher or the in-game graphics menu (F1 / hold START). nvngx_dlss.dll is downloaded by the installer from NVIDIA's official DLSS repository.
  • NVIDIA Smooth Motion (driver frame generation, RTX 40/50) checkbox in the launcher.
  • Performance: DMA chains copied in one prefetched pass (3x cheaper), recycled buffers, lock-free IRQ checks, faster scheduler lookups → fewer drops in heavy scenes.
  • Fixed a PCSX2 Vulkan bug where compute shader specialization constants were never set.

Videos

The same minute of a real match rendered twice from one recorded session (1080p60):

  • NBAStreetV3-native-vs-DLSS.mp4 — split screen: original PS2 resolution (640x448) on the left, this port with 2x internal resolution + NVIDIA DLSS + HD textures on the right.
  • NBAStreetV3-native-PS2-1080p.mp4 — full screen, original PS2 look.
  • NBAStreetV3-DLSS-HD-1080p.mp4 — full screen, DLSS + HD textures + 16x anisotropic filtering.

How to play

Download NBAStreetV3-PC-1.3.zip, extract it, double-click Launcher.cmd, choose your own NBA Street V3 ISO and click Prepare game (only once), then PLAY. HD textures are installed automatically (from the v1.1 asset).

No game files are included: the game is rebuilt on your PC from your own disc image.
