What's new in v1.4.1
- Choose your DLSS version. The launcher (Graphics section) now shows the NVIDIA DLSS version in use and has a Use another DLSS DLL... button: pick an
nvngx_dlss.dllyou have (for example a newer one from another game, or your own build) and it is installed in the renderer folder. Files that are not NVIDIA's signed DLSS are only used after a warning, and the previous file is always kept (nvngx_dlss.prev.dll, choose it to go back).
Everything from v1.4 is included: DLSS with the game's real depth + motion vectors estimated on the GPU (Vulkan and Direct3D 12), PCSX2's SPU2 sound, the browser-version improvements and the easier, faster game preparation with progress.
How to play / update
Download NBAStreetV3-PC-1.4.1.zip, extract it (over your old folder is fine), double-click Launcher.cmd, choose your own NBA Street V3 ISO and click Prepare game (only once; steps already done are reused), then PLAY. HD textures are installed automatically.
No game files are included: the game is rebuilt on your PC from your own disc image.
Mac: ready to play, nothing to compile
Download NBAStreetV3-Mac-1.4.1.zip (Apple Silicon, macOS 14 or newer). Unzip it, drag NBAStreetV3.app to Applications and open it. Choose your own NBA Street V3 USA ISO (SLUS-21126) and click PLAY. The app mounts the ISO read-only while you play. Online play (community server) is on by default.
First start only: the app is not signed with an Apple developer account. On macOS 15 or newer, double-click it, close the warning, then go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway. On macOS 14, right-click > Open. You can also run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/NBAStreetV3.app.
Saves, graphics settings and logs: ~/Library/Application Support/NBAStreetV3. The app holds the game's code already recompiled; no disc files are included.
