We use the monorepo:react preset to disable updates to react libs, but we started seeing MRs popping up for react, react-dom, etc.

I suspect that the issue stems from the react repository having migrated from https://github.com/facebook/react to https://github.com/react/react. See Announcement blog post and the commit: react/react@dbc3750.

I think the preset should be extended to include the new URL in the matcher array as well. Should the old one still be kept for backwards compatibility? Old package versions will have the old URL in package.json.

If you have access to the Renovate logs you should be able to see it - it's fairly important when we're talking about internal presets, so if you can confirm that, it'd help 🤞🏼

I got hold of our infra guys who can access the logs & updated the description with the version: 43.275.2

I can also confirm that this issue is occuring on my PRs, and is caused by the monorepo recently moving from facebook/react to react/react

Here is the extract from the log:
