Question about pushing a local clone of Wiki.js to my own remote

Hi there,

Thanks for building and maintaining Wiki.js; it's a great project.

I've cloned the repository (main branch) and I'm planning to push a copy to my own remote. I noticed that the repository already contains project-level files such as .vscode, .devcontainer, .github, and .nvmrc ; these were present before I installed or changed anything locally.

A couple of quick questions:

• When pushing a fresh clone to my own remote, am I correct that I should simply push the repository as-is, without adding or removing any of these existing files?
• Are there any files that are intentionally excluded from version control (via .gitignore) that I should be careful not to add?

I checked the existing .gitignore and searched for similar discussions first, but wanted to confirm best practice for a clean push. Thanks in advance!

Oh, in short, the .vscode, .devcontainer, .github, and .nvmrc I think they are not suppose to be pushed they must be ignore , I mean added to the .gitignore

No, they are definitely supposed to be in source control. I suggest you start reading about them.
