In addition to the web radio problems above, 20260819 also has problems with the Web Radio bookmark, edit and delete options - they all point to the same station art dialogue box. Chris |

Applied UPDATE branch as at 09:20 BST Aug 28th, still not possible to add web radio stations. Chris |

@rern #2136 LCD Screen - now seems to be working correctly #2140 Adding radio stations - now seems to be working correctly #2149 Add Webradio Station Art - fails with 'No write permissions' when confirming image file to be added. I think directory permissions are incorrect: Add station art fails for BBC Radio 2 : Station art is available for preloaded stations (eg Radio Paradise - Mellow Mix): #2159 - Add bookmark - fails with no error and bookmark not added. Directory '/srv/http/data/bookmarks' is empty. Nearly there, thanks. Chris |

After the latest UPDATE branch was applied this afternoon (15:10 BST, Aug 29), the Library and Playlist pages are not being shown. Using 'journalctl -f' when switching from the Playback screen to the Library screen shows:
It seems that Line 2 of /srv/http/function.php currently has:
I think it should be:
Making this change allows the Library / Playlist pages to be displayed. BUT the Web Radio icons for added radio stations are blank (except the pre-seeded Radio Paradise stations) and appear to be constantly flashing as if they are being refreshed all the time. Trying to add station art to non pre-seeded stations still has the write error noted above. With the change above in place and again using 'journalctl -f' to investigate the following error is rrepeatedly shown:
Because, although I could dd BBC Radio 2 Direct as a station I could not add the necessary Station art referred to in the error message. Chris |

@rern Hash issue noted above now seems to be fixed #2149 - I can now add Webradio Station art, so seems to be fixed #2159 - I can add bookmark for Webradio stations but as per original poster of this issue I only see a Star not the station artwork. The New issue: on the Playback screen the Webradio Station artwork is not displayed, only the rAudio default artwork is shown. Works properly for pre-seeded Radio Paradise stations. When changing Webradio Stations (using Replace / Play) the following error (similar to #2160 ?) is seen (via 'journalctl -f'): Thanks very much for your efforts, this seems to have taken some sorting out but may be we are nearly there ? Thanks Chris |

Ok - part of a solution It appears that when webstation artwork gets added the original image file gets added (converted if necessary) as a .jpg file. I generally use .PNG files and these definitely get saved as .JPG files. The seeded (Paradise*) station artwork get saved as 'cover.jpg' and 'thumb.jpg': However when adding artwork to our own stations it gets saved as: Note: 'coverart.jpg' not 'cover.jpg'. Renaming 'coverart.jpg' to 'cover.jpg' allows the artwork to be displayed on the Playback screen. Doesn't answer the core dump or bookmarks issue though but perhaps give a point to their solutions ? Discussion on #2159 has solved all of the issues noted here. Thanks to everybody concerned. Chris |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
@rern
Thanks for this new release however it does nothing to address these issues:
#2136
#2140
#2149
Which make the LCD Screen and, more importantly to me, web radio completely useless to me at the moment.
