Release list
uncharted-android 0.2.4
A fix release. Still experimental; no game files are included, you need your own decrypted dump of the collection (version 1.02 of the executables).
Fixed
- The background blur while aiming in Uncharted 2 (#7). The game measures the distance under the crosshair on the GPU and reads the result on the CPU to set the focus. The port never copied that result back, so the focus stayed at about 2 m and everything behind Drake was blurred while aiming, the target included, at every size. Now the target is in focus. The fix comes from upstream uncharted_pc 0.3.8 (commit 722df5f) and is on for Uncharted 2 only, as there. 0.2.3's change that keeps the blur the same size at the smaller sizes stays.
Known issues
- Snapdragon 8 Elite / 8 Elite Gen 5 (Adreno 8xx): the bundled driver does not render the game correctly (#1, #8); try the driver packages from Settings > Vulkan driver > Download...
- The sizes below 1080p need version 1.02 of the executables (#3).
Install uncharted-android-0.2.4.apk over the previous version (same signing key; settings and saves stay). Building from source: see the README.

uncharted-android 0.2.3
A fix release. Still experimental; no game files are included, you need your own decrypted dump of the collection (version 1.02 of the executables).
Fixed
- Cutscenes no longer fall behind their sound on phones that slow down after a while (#6): movies decode on four threads, and below 1080p their picture is scaled with a fast filter. On the G2 the movie thread is busy about 9% of the time instead of 70-92%.
- FSR 3.1 works with the bundled Turnip driver (#13). It never started before, at any size, so the picture did not change. In this port it is anti-aliasing at the size chosen in the launcher (not upscaling) and costs GPU time: on the G2 at 1280x720 in Uncharted 1's jungle, about 37 FPS without it and 30 with it (no frame limit). If it cannot start with another driver, the FPS counter says "FSR 3.1 failed" and the in-game panel says why.
- The background blur while aiming (depth of field, Uncharted 2 and 3) and the glow around lights now look at 1280x720 and 960x540 as they do at 1920x1080 (#7); before, they were 1.5x to 2x stronger. Checked in Uncharted 2; Uncharted 3 uses the same effect.
Known issues
- Snapdragon 8 Elite / 8 Elite Gen 5 (Adreno 8xx): the bundled driver does not render the game correctly (#1, #8); try the driver packages from Settings > Vulkan driver > Download...
- The sizes below 1080p need version 1.02 of the executables (#3).

uncharted-android 0.2.2
A small release. Still experimental; no game files are included, you need your own decrypted dump of the collection (version 1.02 of the executables).
Changed
- Phones without little CPU cores (the Snapdragon 8 Elite family: 2 + 6 big cores) no longer get all of the port's GPU threads on two cores; on them these threads now use every core (#8). Phones with little cores, the G2 among them, keep the cores they had.
- More in the log for bug reports: the render size and the patch file applied, and the call stack when the GPU library stops on a failed check.
Known issues
- Snapdragon 8 Elite / 8 Elite Gen 5 (Adreno 8xx): the bundled driver does not render the game correctly (#1, #8); try the driver packages from Settings > Vulkan driver > Download...
- FSR 3.1 upscaling does not initialize at 960x540 and 1920x1080 (error -7) and stays off there; it works at 1280x720.
- The sizes below 1080p need version 1.02 of the executables (#3).

uncharted-android 0.2.1
A fix release. Still experimental; no game files are included, you need your own decrypted dump of the collection (version 1.02 of the executables).
Fixed
- Frame generation leaked GPU memory on every generated frame: after a few minutes the game crashed (#2). With FSR 3.1 frame generation on, the memory now stays flat.
- The game is held back when the GPU falls behind. It now waits once it is two frames ahead of the GPU; before, on a slow GPU (or while shaders compiled) it ran further ahead and stopped on its own command-buffer check right after entering gameplay (#5). No frame rate cost measured on the G2.
- The default frame rate limit is 60 on every display (it was the display's rate, 120 on 120 Hz phones). A limit you set yourself is kept; 120 stays a choice.
- The upscaler writes the FSR error code to the log when it cannot start.
Known issues
- FSR 3.1 upscaling does not initialize at 960x540 and 1920x1080 (error -7) and stays off there; it works at 1280x720.
- Snapdragon 8 Elite: a black screen with the bundled driver (#1); try a Gen8 driver package from Settings > Vulkan driver > Download.
- The sizes below 1080p need version 1.02 of the executables (#3).

uncharted-android 0.2.0
A second preview build. Still experimental, still tested on one device (Retroid Pocket G2); no game files are included, you need your own decrypted dump of the collection.
New in 0.2.0
- A choice of Vulkan driver in the launcher: the bundled Turnip (Mesa 26.2.5 with the port's fixes; the tested one), the system's driver, or a driver package you add - the zips the Android emulators use (meta.json plus the driver library), either from a file or downloaded in the app from the GitHub releases of K11MCH1, MrPurple and StevenMXZ. The Gen8 builds there are for the Adreno 8xx of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which the bundled driver has not been tested on. On the G2, one of three community builds rendered the game; the others gave a black screen, so treat them as something to try, not a fix.
- Copy the log (a "Bug reports" card in the launcher): puts the game's log into
Documents/uncharted-android, where you can reach it to attach to a report. Other apps cannot read the app's own folder on recent Android, so there was no way to get it before. - The app now asks for the Internet permission (only for the driver downloads).
Requirements: Android 13 or later, an Adreno GPU supported by Turnip, 8 GB of RAM, a kernel with 4 KB memory pages, "All files access" for the app.
Known issues: shaders compile the first time a place is shown (stutters); the load after some movies takes 20-40 s on a black screen; Snapdragon 8 Elite: a black screen with the bundled driver has been reported (#1) - try a Gen8 driver package and attach the log.

uncharted-android 0.1.0
The first public build, an early preview: Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (PS4) on Android
with Snapdragon (Adreno) GPUs, built on uncharted_pc 0.3.6.
No game files are included. You need your own decrypted dump of the collection (CUSA02344,
CUSA02320 or CUSA02343; version 01.02 of the executables for the sizes below 1920x1080).
Tested on one device: Retroid Pocket G2 (Snapdragon G2 Gen 2, Adreno A735, 8 GB), at 1280x720.
- Uncharted: Drake's Fortune: playable, about 30-37 FPS.
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves: playable, 30 FPS in heavy places.
- Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception: playable, 25-30 FPS (limited by the CPU).
In this build
- A launcher: the game folder, the loader's files prepared on the device from your dump, the size
the game renders at (640x360, 960x540, 1280x720, 1920x1080), the frame rate limit (30 / 60 / 120 /
off), the on-screen gamepad, save backup and restore. - A settings panel in the game (swipe in from the right edge, or L3+R3): FSR 3.1 or TAA as
anti-aliasing, sharpening, the frame rate limit and counter, the on-screen gamepad's opacity,
size and camera sensitivity. - An on-screen gamepad for phones (Auto: shown while no gamepad is connected).
- The Turnip (Mesa) Vulkan driver with our KGSL fixes, bundled.
Requirements: Android 13 or later, an Adreno GPU supported by Turnip, 8 GB of RAM, a kernel with
4 KB memory pages, "All files access" for the app.
Known issues: shaders compile the first time a place is shown (stutters); the load after some
movies takes 20-40 s on a black screen; only one device tested so far.
