Converty 0.1.2 for Mac
Pre-releaseConverty 0.1.2 adds visual video trimming to the floating Trim dialog and workspace inspector:
- Drag blue start/end handles over a local thumbnail timeline.
- Preview the selected section before saving.
- Keep precise timestamp entry, reset to the full clip, or adjust focused handles with arrow keys.
- Audio gets the same range controls. Files macOS cannot preview retain timestamp entry for FFmpeg export.
Original files stay untouched. For multiple files, the first file supplies the preview and the same selected times apply to all files.
Build 5 requires an Apple Silicon Mac and macOS 14 or later. This early release is ad-hoc signed and not notarized by Apple. The interface and export were verified on macOS 26; macOS 14/15 still need dedicated release testing.
The DMG includes the self-contained media engine. Matching app source, media-engine sources, licenses, release manifest, and SHA-256 checksums are attached. Packaging verifies the disk image, signatures, and payload hashes.
Existing Homebrew users can update with:
brew update
brew upgrade --cask rirachii/tap/convertyIf macOS blocks the first launch, follow Apple's installation instructions if you choose to trust this early release.
