Fixed

  • Border routers of other systems are labelled with the name they announce (e.g. HomePod Salon) instead of the model: Apple announces the same model BorderRouter for all its border routers, so they could not be told apart. The model is only used when it is not generic; very long names are shortened; the anonymised image shows Border router (#71)
  • Names of border routers that arrive after the map is drawn (the discovery answers a few seconds later) now also reach the list (talks through, weak links), the hints and the detail panels of their children – they showed …7114 before (#71)

Thanks to @oxmo75 for testing 1.5.0 on a real Apple-only network and for the analysis.

Install / update

  • HACS: Thread Pulse shows the update to 1.5.1 – install it and reload the browser. New installation: HACS → ⋮ → Custom repositories → https://github.com/riticulus/ha-thread-pulse, type Dashboard.
  • Manual card: download Source code (zip) below, copy dist/ha-thread-pulse.js and dist/thread-pulse-vis-network.js to /config/www/.
  • Standalone page: from Source code (zip), copy dist/thread-pulse.html and dist/thread-pulse-vis-network.js to /config/www/ and raise ?v= in the card URL.
