Licensing and contributions

Project-owned core code and current modules in 0.2.1-preview use AGPL-3.0-or-later. The accounting core remains open source. The pre-adoption 0.1.0 through 0.1.5 previews retain their original MIT grants; third-party dependencies, assets and marks keep their own terms.

A separate commercial licence is available on request for uses outside AGPL obligations. Future commercial modules will be named before release; none is declared by this release. Desktop/Android clients, a consultant edition, an unposted khata add-on and a hosted FBR relay remain candidates.

Self-hosting for your own business is free, without licence keys or licensing-server calls. Hosting, setup, training and support are optional services.

New contributions require the individual/entity CLA. Contributors retain copyright and grant the permissions needed for AGPL distribution and commercial sublicensing. The pinned CLA Assistant workflow stores signatures on a separate branch; a successful hosted signature/recheck must be observed before claiming that flow verified. No signature is assumed or backdated.
