ThoughtKnot turns what you know into a map you can see, change and share.
You write things and the links between them as plain text. ThoughtKnot draws them, checks them and keeps them safe. It works across your notes, your devices and your team.
The same core sits under every way in, so a graph looks and behaves the same everywhere.
| Way in | For whom | State |
|---|---|---|
| Obsidian plugin | People who keep notes in Obsidian | In testing |
| Standalone app (desktop and iPhone) | Anyone, with no other tool needed | Planned |
| VS Code plugin | Developers, beside their code | Planned |
| JavaScript library | Builders who want graphs in their own tools | Included in each release |
| Plug-ins | Anyone adding new views, checks or stores | Planned |
- A mesh of notes. Graphs in different notes join into one picture.
- Trust you can see. How sure a link is, who added it and when.
- Views for each reader. The same graph, shown at the right level for each audience.
- Safe AI help. AI suggests changes, within the permissions you set. You accept or reject each one.
- Private sync. Your devices and your team share graphs directly and encrypted.
