New Features

  • Play Time: a stats hub under Settings > Library with a year-at-a-glance activity calendar you can step through day by day, a weekday-by-hour view of when you play, breakdowns by platform, device and game, and a treemap of your most played covers
  • Play sessions upload to RomM and pull back from your other devices, so hours played elsewhere count here, and existing local history is backfilled once on first connect
  • A LAN and a WAN address per RomM account, connected LAN-first on every network change, with address cards to edit, verify, swap or remove either one (#424, #132)
  • Other front-ends can launch a game through an argosy://launch deep link, and Argosy returns to the caller when the session ends (thanks @kalbasit, #341)
  • The companion screen can rename and delete save slots (thanks @brendannoble, #428)

Improvements

  • Hiding a game stays on this device and no longer hides it on RomM; unhiding still clears a flag an older version set
  • A connected external controller takes player one over a handheld's built-in pad
  • Downloads respond to touch: tap a row for its controls beside a full-height cover, view the game or clear what has finished
  • Home rows keep installed and favourite games first, and Steam rows check the install before sorting
  • Hard Reset keeps files Argosy did not download, says how many before you confirm, and records every path it removed

Bug Fixes

  • The Play Time footer names each button once instead of listing two jobs for the d-pad and two for A
  • Play sessions from other devices import instead of being silently dropped
  • A deleted save slot stays deleted instead of returning and overwriting the live save (#433)
  • The server's own slot names a save channel, so a filename no longer invents a slot that was never made (#432)
  • Force sync on the Save Sync screen keeps a local save that is newer than the server's
  • Auto Save and autosave are one slot on both screens instead of two rows on the companion (#434)
  • A multi-disc game whose playlist points at a disc that moved rebuilds the playlist instead of failing to launch
  • The home screen keeps its place through a rotation (#412)
  • Select no longer swaps display roles before a Select plus shoulder chord completes (#404)
  • The Display Roles carousel cycles through every option (thanks @brendannoble, #427)
