First Launch

First Launch Setup

Argosy guides you through setup on first launch. The wizard handles:

1. RomM Connection - Enter your server URL and credentials
2. Storage Setup - Choose where to store downloaded games
3. Permissions - Grant required access (storage, usage stats)
4. Library Sync - Select platforms to sync from RomM
5. Emulator Cores - Optionally download built-in cores

Most steps are self-explanatory. Key notes:

RomM Connection

Your server must be reachable from the device. Use your local IP (e.g., http://192.168.1.100:8080) or domain if exposed externally.

Storage Path

Argosy creates platform subfolders automatically. Choose a location with enough space for your library.

Usage Stats Permission

This redirects to Android settings. Find Argosy in the list and enable access. Required for play time tracking.
