Review Actions

Superflore Status

• Python Modernization
  • The pyproject.toml changes are merged and the linting and CI updates are being reviewed
• Transitive dependencies
  • Enhancements to the superflore tool to track "*_export_depends" in package.xml files
  • This greatly simplifies the bbappend fixes that were needed, however it also reveals some incorrect dependencies is the ROS package.xml files
  • Looking for feedback from the community on the changes: https://github.com/robwoolley/superflore/tree/bitbake-export-depends

Mash Status

• No changes

ROS 2 Status

• No updates to meta-ros due to ROSCon Global

GitHub Pull Requests

  • packagegroup-ros2--supported : curated list of packages built for a distro for every sync
  • packagegroup-ros-world-bb : includes generated variable ${ROS_SUPERFLORE_GENERATED_WORLD_PACKAGES}
  • Work is to iterate over ros-world to fix simple build failures and add recipes with complicated failures to a "skip-group"

Backlog

[vermaete]

I only have this to mention: I moved python3-construct from meta-homeassistant to meta-python (openembedded/meta-openembedded@356405b).
Next the recipe from meta-ros can be removed. And rosdistro modifed.
