MacScope 0.1.4

MacScope 0.1.4 improves Settings access from the Dock Quick Panel and menu-bar panel. The gear now explicitly activates MacScope, opens the Settings scene, and dismisses the Dock preview.

The website and README download links now point to 0.1.4, and the website's Security link opens the correct documentation section.

Requires macOS 14 or newer on Apple silicon. Download the DMG and drag MacScope to Applications, or use the ZIP archive. Both the app and DMG are Developer ID signed, notarized by Apple, and stapled. SHA-256 checksums are included for both downloads.

Validation: 156 deterministic Swift tests, native Settings click checks, packaged MCP smoke test, and app/DMG Gatekeeper verification passed locally. GitHub Actions could not start because of the account billing lock.

MacScope 0.1.3

MacScope 0.1.3 fixes gaps and window movement when switching Quick Panel tabs.

• All five tabs share a stable panel size, with the header and footer kept in place while the selected tab scrolls.
• The Dock preview sizes to its content, and the Windows list uses the panel’s shared scroll area.
• Download labels now distinguish the macOS release from Windows availability. There is no Windows build; this repository currently contains the macOS implementation.

The macOS DMG and ZIP are Developer ID signed, notarized by Apple, and stapled. Gatekeeper acceptance and the app inside the DMG were verified locally. Requires macOS 14 or newer on Apple silicon.

Validation: 156 deterministic tests passed for the dock fix, including all five tab layouts in light and dark appearance. The download page was checked at 1440 px and 390 px widths, with no horizontal overflow or browser console errors.

MacScope 0.1.2

MacScope 0.1.2 includes the menu responsiveness and per-app audio mixer fixes from #3.

• Keeps live telemetry updates inside the menu-bar status label, so they no longer rebuild the app's menu scene.
• Moves accessibility, Finder, screenshot, and command discovery work off the UI thread, with bounded scans and cancellation.
• Fixes audio capture metadata and groups audio from browser helper processes under their parent application.
• Keeps per-app volume and mute settings active after the mixer closes, and updates audio gain without rebuilding the capture engine.

For Apple-silicon Macs running macOS 14 or newer. The DMG and app are signed with an Apple Developer ID, notarized by Apple, and stapled. The packaged app and installer pass Gatekeeper verification. Install by dragging MacScope from the DMG to Applications.
