Overview

• Open external HTTP(S) slide links in the host machine's default browser from CLI
  present and preview views.
• Route link handling through validated token-scoped loopback endpoints while preserving
  the current slide.
• Keep Node CLI, packaged Windows CLI, Canvas, and Desktop behavior aligned with browser
  and server coverage for the new handoff.

Compatibility and migration

This release is backward compatible with existing MarkdStage Markdown decks and the v4
installation model. External HTTP(S) links opened from CLI slide views now hand off to the
host's default browser; no source changes are required.

MarkdStage v4.2.9

Overview

markdstage_validate now checks Adaptive Cards in slide input before display, alongside
Architecture validation. Invalid cards are reported consistently with CLI and Desktop validation,
and card diagnostics include source locations and truncation details.

Compatibility and migration

This release is compatible with existing decks and installations. The slide-validation response
adds an adaptiveCards report, and its top-level valid value now reflects card errors as well as
Architecture errors. Valid decks are unaffected; decks with invalid cards are now correctly
reported as invalid before display.
