MeshAid 0.4.3 testing release

MeshAid is an experimental offline-first Android messenger for nearby Bluetooth LE mesh communication. It provides a public lobby, encrypted direct messages, and QR-approved encrypted Trusted Circles.

Important safety status

This is an unaudited, debug-signed testing build. Read SECURITY.md before use.

Downloads

  • MeshAid-0.4.3-debug-arm64.apk — recommended for most modern Android phones.
  • MeshAid-0.4.3-debug-universal.apk — larger fallback build for all supported architectures.
  • MeshAid-0.4.3-SHA256.txt — checksums for verifying both APKs.

  • Separate BLE namespace so Bitchat does not display or relay MeshAid application messages.
  • Public lobby with local flood controls.
  • Noise-encrypted, recipient-bound direct messages.
  • Device-bound QR admission for encrypted Trusted Circles.
  • Organizer revocation with key rotation and rejoin-required notices.
  • No Android Internet, Wi-Fi, microphone, media-library, or external-storage permission.

151 automated tests passed with no failures or errors. See BUILD_REPORT.md for verification evidence and remaining limitations.
