First public test build of 30 Seconds Ago.
30 Seconds Ago is a lightweight replay-buffer app built for the AYN Thor dual-screen handheld. It is designed to sit on the bottom screen while you play, letting you save recent gameplay as an MP4 clip.
What works
- Replay dashboard with large Capture Replay, Start, and Stop buttons
- Saves recent gameplay from an in-memory replay buffer
- Configurable replay length
- Video quality presets:
- 720p30 Low
- 720p30 Standard
- 720p60 Smooth
- 1080p30
- 1080p60 High
- Adjustable bitrate
- Optional internal audio capture
- Saved clips list inside the app
- Custom save folder support
- Custom filename templates
- Optional saved-clip popup for the Thor bottom screen
- Configurable hardware replay trigger
- Cleaner responsive UI for the Thor dual-screen layout
Tester notes
This is an early test build. Please test:
- Whether replay clips save correctly
- Whether clips are close to the selected replay length
- Whether the end of the replay is preserved when pressing Capture Replay
- Whether internal audio works in your games/emulators
- Whether the hardware replay trigger works with your chosen button
- Whether the saved notification appears on the correct Thor screen
Known limitations
- Android screen capture permission is required when starting the replay buffer.
- Some games or emulators may block internal audio capture.
- Some hardware/system buttons may not be visible to Android apps.
- The replay may be slightly over the selected length because the app saves from the nearest safe video keyframe.
